Reducing Challenging Behavior among Children with Neurodevelopment Disorder

Parents and Caretakers of Kalidevi Hostel and Sustha Manisthiti Purnasthapana Kendra gathered together for Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy which was conducted on 26th and 27th of September 2019 at Bhagwati Activity Center for special children.  Nepal Jesuit Social Institute has been working for the welfare and development of the children with special needs in various manner and conducts regular training program.

The implementation of another ABA therapy was guided by special trainer, senior psychologist Mrs. Rama Karki. On 26th September the training was for caretakers in which 6 were present. On the next day parents training program was organized in which 19 parents of special children participated. Both the training was to reduce and minimize challenging behavior among children with neurodevelopment disorder and child safe guarding policy.

The participants were engaged in the training throughout. They confessed that it is easy to understand the children behavior with the knowledge provided by these training.
